Functions of Pre-production

The functions of pre-production is to insure the idea is feasible in regards to expertise, costs , timing and
logistics to do that sometimes you need to change your idea and fit in with the budget and even sometimes
cut out sections. Without being able to visualise it in a storyboard and a script you won’t have a clear picture of
what you are working with.

The purpose of pre-production

is making sure that you stick to code of practises of regulations to make sure your staff are safe and that your
production is not sued for anything unlawful we also need to make sure that all documents are up to date and
available when needed you can do this sometimes by implementing shared documents like google drive to
make sure that everybody who needs it has access to it. You should also be ready for auditing at anytime
financers can ask to see what their money has been spent on.
