IN RUSSIA THOUGHT ABOUT TIGHTENING AVIATION SECURITY

The Ministry of transport of Russia intends to tighten the rules of aviation security
at airports and on Board aircraft. About it on Sunday, April 21, reports
"Moskovsky Komsomolets" with reference to discussions on the legal information
forum.
It is proposed to change the conduct of pre- and post-flight inspection this way,
clarifying the law in the case of " mixing of cleared and uncleared passengers,
including unauthorized entry into the sterile zone\areas." If mixing of passengers
nevertheless happened, it is necessary to release from passengers and to examine a
sterile zone\area, and then repeatedly to examine departing passengers and their
hand luggage\baggage.
If the changes adopted, the airports will also be obliged to inform the airline about
the number of armed people on Board the aircraft. In addition, people with guns
will need to know where their places.
In September 2018, the Ministry of transport decided to reduce the service time of
transit international flights at Russian airports. The author of the idea was the
company "Aeroflot", which carrier proposed to cancel the re-inspection of transfer
passengers and baggage.
It is assumed that this measure will reduce queues at airports for transfers, and thus
minimize the number of delays for flights and cases of loss of baggage\luggage.
