Kathie Good Night ladies and

gentleman. Tonight we talk about the fashion

in the era of globalization. For this reason we
invited an expert on the subject to the
program. Welcome Isabel!!!

Isabel: Thanks for you invitation. It is a pleasure

to be here.

Khatie: What is your opinion about

the fashion in the era of globalization?
Isabel: Well, as we known the impact of
globalization is in all areas in the life.
So the fashion it is not an exception. In this
sense the economic globalization has
introduced significant changes in the life. Then
this have modified our style to dress.

Kathie: What is the biggest change that

globalization introduced in the fashion?
Isabel: The globalization of fashion was present
in the history of mankind for a long time.
Therefore it is not a new phenomenon. Today,
many images, styles, colors, commodities etc.
are created and disseminated across around the
world much faster than ever, thanks to
international trade, new information
technologies, and international mass media.

Kathie: Do you think with the acceleration of

fashion production there are more copies or
more original designs?

Isabel: In a globalized world, it is more and

more difficult to have an original design. In fact,
many fashion designer travel around the world
looking for originals ideas.
As Mexican example, the native designer
demand legally to Isabel Marat as French
designer, for to copy a native models.
Kathie: Do you think this fashion
designer traveler, are visited Bolivia?

Isabel: Of course. Did you know

“chulos”, as a part of indigenous dress
of North Potosi?

Kathie: Yes, I knew this, are original

and beautiful
Isabel Well, this seekers ideas were
copy the chulo, after this, the chulo,
was globalized. Now, many girls
around the word used it, but nobody
known the origin.

Kathie: Both are the interesting

cases, in another words the culture is
being affected. Do you think is it true?
Isabel: Of course, you are right!.
The culture is being globalized, thanks
to travel and travel, we are we are
simultaneously confronting different identities in
a gigantic cultural supermarket. This social
phenomenon is known by the term cultural
homogenization

Khatie. Thank you very much Isabel,

you show us a new face of
globalization. Which is taking about
something important from our culture
and is something that is being copied to all
countries. Hopefully we can do something
about this issue. Thank you so very much
for joining us tonight. Thanks Isabel for
