The clinic will promote the health and well being to the
residents of Ventura County. Women’s Safe Harbor clinic will
allow collaboration, diversity, and performance excellence to
achieve a healthy community. By ensuring that the vulnerable
populations in Oxnard has access and is served with quality
preventive health care services and resources to promote a
safer community.

According to 2013 Oxnard had a high school graduation rate of 64.3%. “Cities
such as Oxnard, Fillmore, Santa Paula, and Port Hueneme have the lowest
rates of high school graduation and are not meeting the HP2020 target”
(Ventura County Public Health Strategic Plan, 2020). The Women Safe Harbor
will have resource to improve Oxnard high school graduation to members of
the community. These resource can increase high school graduation rate.
Resources such as housing , support groups, meals and clothing can enhance
community outreach.
