1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1 The weight of the load to be lifted is known

2 The dimensions of the package are known

3 The centre of gravity of the load is known

4 The gear is certified

5 The colour code corresponds to the applicable code, is correctly marked and legible

6 The Safe Working Load is clearly marked

2. CONDITIONS OF CABLES, CHAINS AND STRAPS

8 Slings has no knots/kinks

9 Cables are intact

10 Chains are intact

11 Straps and cables, of synthetic materials, are intact

3. GEARS FOR SLINGS

12 Are the swings and other suspension gears in good condition?

13 Do the hooks have a safety notch?

14 Are the notches in good condition?

15 Are the anchoring points in good condition?
