This serie is an anime, its name is Parasyte: the maximum and is created by Hitoshi Iwaaki, was

published at November 22th of 1988 in the Afternoon Magazine and produced like a serie by
Madhouse Studios. The action of the anime is set in Japan, there Izumi lives. The history takes
place in the Izumi’s house, the school and Izumi’s neighborhood.

The main characters are Shin’ichi Izumi, a secondary student who at the beginning of the serie was
a shy boy, and on another hand is the parasite, Migi, it lives in the right hand of Shin’ichi. Parasites
are very smart and its mission is reducing human population.

The anime begins in the Izumi’s room. He was sleeping when a parasite got into his right hand; for
this reason, his hand came to life. Then, the life of Izumi changes, now he is so strong, and must
fight against another parasites in order to saves human life. The Izumi’s parents must travel but in
this trip a parasite got in his mother´s body, so Izumi decides taking revenge. The end of this anime
is when Izumi finds to his mother, but she isn’t a human so she attacks his son´s heart. Izumi fell to
the floor whit a hole in his chest.

I am impressed by this anime because it treats moral aspects, a non-human vision and
philosophical reflections like the relativism, it means that exist different realities which depends of
the subject.
