Options to purchase

You have the free option and can create one timeline. There is also an option for
teachers and their class that can be purchased for $125 a year. You might be
interested in doing this if you would like your students to create timelines
themselves.

Introduction:

When you open your timeline an introduction box will pop up. Put a title of your
timeline with a line of explanation about the timeline.
How to Make a Story:

The story is the Event you are creating or “talking” about.

You can always find the date you are working with by looking in the middle of
your screen.

Click Admin

Click Stories

Click Create a New Story

Give the Story a Title in the Title box

Select a Category in the Category box

Add information you would like to see in your story box on the timeline by typing
in information in the Intro Box

To add a link to your time I suggest you go ahead and have the video pulled up
you want to use on YouTube.

Copy the link from YouTube

Go back to your Timeline and paste the link in the Link Box

Click: Save
How to change the color of your story:

Click Admin

Click Categories

Click in the Colors box

Scroll over the colors until you find the color you want.
To Add and Image:

Unless you have paid for a premium package with Tiki-Toki you will not be
allowed to upload images from your computer. You will have to search the web
for images that are not copyrighted.

Click Admin

Look Under the Categories

Select EDIT beside the category you would like to add the image for

Click on Story Media

Click Add New Media

Click on the drop down menu for TYPE

Select: Image, Video, or Audio

Again it is best if you already have the image pulled up that you would like to use.
Simply go to the image and Right Click to Copy Image Location. Then return to
the timeline and Right Click and Paste the location in the Source box.

Click Save
