You are hereby cordially invited to the 16th Annual International Human Rights Summit in 
New York, 27-29 June 2019. 
 
The 3-day summit follows our proud tradition of bringing youth from around the world 
together to share, encourage and inspire global peace and equality. The Summit will feature 
presentations at the United Nations Headquarters by dignitaries and human rights 
advocates as well as an inspiring Human Rights Heroes Awards ceremony. On the third day, 
a Multi-cultural Human Rights Celebration and a leadership workshop for Youth Delegates 
will be held outside of the United Nations building.
 
The purpose of Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI) is to teach youth about human 
rights, specifically the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and inspire 
them to become advocates for tolerance and peace.
 
As a nonprofit corporation we rely on the generous support of like-minded individuals, 
groups and organizations. This year we are proud to team up with organizations including 
the Human Rights Department of the Church of Scientology International and several other 
organizations.
