 There are three questions in this test. Please answer ALL parts of each question.

 The first question is writing a business article, where you have to write an article on the
given topic in minimum 400 words. The article content should be completely in your own
language.We use “Copyscape” to check plagiarism. Any plagiarized content found will
lead to rejection.

 The second question is profiling a company based on key facts and figure. You have to fill
the required section of the given company from the most authentic source. Paste the link
of the source in the adjacent column.

 The third question is a general math and analysis test. A table and a set of question is
given. You have to answer the right option in the provided space.

1.1 Instruction
 The article should not be less than 400 word. The sequence of the content in the article
should be as follows:

o Start with the definition of the product or introduction of the market. Mention the
major categories of the product, its usage and application, technologies used,
general characteristics, etc.

o Mention a major trend i.e. any activity/factor which is preferred by consumer or


recent activity/product service offerings by market players to gain competitive edge,
etc.

o In the following paragraphs, mention a major driver (factor that is driving the market
in coming years) and support it by facts, data and reasoning.

o This is followed by a restraint of the market (factor that possess challenges to the
market in coming year). Support the factor with facts, data and reasoning.

o Mention competitive scenario in the market. This will include the market
characteristics (e.g. Consolidated, fragmented, moderately consolidated) and major
activities by the key players to gain competitive edge in the market. Mention the
name of all the major players in the market.

Selected Title: CHEMICAL DISINFECTANTS MARKET

Chemical disinfectants are chemicals applied to various objects in order to remove microorganisms
and are widely used in healthcare and food processing industry for cleaning and sanitation.
Basically chemical disinfectants are of three types: Air disinfectants, Water disinfectants and
Surface disinfectants. The increase of foodborne diseases caused by pathogens and bacteria has
created a huge market for this as well as cleaning disinfectants is also in high demand and are
used globally. The chemical product type segment dominated the market with a revenue share of
92.4% in 2020. Chemical based disinfecting products are primarily classified into two types
namely, non oxidizing and oxidizing agents.

The in-house disinfectant segment is most competitive as all the big brands spends a lot on
endorsements. They basically targets to make the image of their product as an “effective as well as
safe product”. Also if they are not capable of showing both the characteristics in the same product,
they go for the different variants of the same product. Nowadays competitors targets the audience
by making products naturally or minimum use of synthetic components.

The developed countries uses more in comparison to undeveloped countries. On b asis of end user
the market is expected to reach a value of USD 4.2 billion at the end of the 2018-2027. There are
basic five major regions : North America, Europe, Asia pacific, Latin America, Middle east and
Africa region. The market is anticipated to record a CAGR of 4.7% over the forecast period(2018-
2027). Global disinfectants market share on end based as of 2019 are: Healthcare (56%), Food
and beverages (27%), Chemical processing (7%), and other left.

The major challenge faced by global chemical disinfectants market is the rising environment
concerns developed due to their use as we cannot deny the diseases and natural hazard. Some
chemicals are toxic in nature however prolong exposure to these chemicals is hazard to earth as
well as humankind. This industry have a bright future but comes with a lot of disadvantages. The
increasing price of these products on industrial level are also going to effect the manufacture of a
lot of essential products and healthcare system will be more expensive which is a topic of concern
for the undeveloped and poor countries.

The major competition would be making the product more and more efficient with less and less
