Essential technical checks you must do now

§ Ensure your device meets the

minimum requirements

§ Run and pass the system test… on the

same computer you will sit your exam
and in the same place.

A strong, stable internet connection required

§ A reliable and stable connection speed

§ 3Mbps down and 2 Mbps is required
§ Wired internet connection if possible
§ Dongles, without user interface, can be used
§ Mobile hotspots strictly not allowed

Ensure you meet the minimum requirements

§ Students must have the required Operating System and only use
genuine software.
§ VPN and Firewalls prohibited – exams will not load on a VPN.
§ Students should use personal devices where possible as corporate
equipment creates additional risk

§ You must be in a closed

private room with solid walls
and door

§ No other people are allowed

in the room for the full
duration

§ Any windows should be

covered

§ No second monitor allowed
§ No scrap paper allowed – use the
on-screen scratchpad.
§ Keep desk clear of non-listed item
