Statement of the Problem

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease that can be easily


transmitted by breathing in the virus if you are within close proximity of someone who
has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose or
mouth. Therefore, there are protocols needed to implement. It is therefore crucial to
consumers to communicate relevant messages and customize in-store experience
during the purchase.
This study is design to determine the effect of COVID 19 Protocols on
purchasing behavior among PUP Marketing students. The following questions will
guide the researchers throughout the study.

1. What is the effect of COVID 19 Protocols on purchasing behavior among PUP


marketing students in relation with their age?

2. What are the influence of the following COVID 19 Protocols on buying behavior of
PUP Marketing Students?

I. Travel restrictions
II. Waiver form
III. Wearing mask & face shield
IV. Social distancing

3. What is the purchasing quantity of the PUP Marketing Students under COVID 19
Protocols?
Hypothesis (if any)
The hypotheses of the study were as follows:
1. Travel restrictions has significant effect on the buying behavior of the PUP
Marketing Students regardless of age
2. Waiver form has significant effect on the buying behavior of the PUP
Marketing Students regardless of age
3. Wearing mask & face shield has significant effect on the buying behavior of
the PUP Marketing Students regardless of age
4. Social distancing has significant effect on the buying behavior of the PUP
Marketing Students regardless of age

5. COVID-19 Protocols has significant effect on the buying behavior of the


PUP Marketing Students regardless of their age
6. The COVID-19 Protocols has significant relationship to purchasing quantity
of the PUP Marketing Students
