The Olivet Prophecy (1)

Jesus Predicted the
Scattering of the Jews
“ But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then
know that its desolation is near. Then let those in Judea flee to
the mountains . . . For there will be great distress in the land
and wrath upon this people. And they will fall by the edge of the
sword, and be led away captive into all nations . . . ”
(Luke 21:20-24)

This fulfillment began in AD70 when the Roman

armies destroyed Judea and scattered the Jews into
all nations.

The Olivet Prophecy (2)

The Occupation of
Jerusalem
“ . . . And Jerusalem will be trampled by
Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are
fulfilled. ” (Luke 21:24)

Since AD70, Jerusalem has been dominated

by other nations. The city was finally
repossessed by the Jews during the “Six Day
War” in 1967.

Jesus is Coming!
" Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a
cloud with power and great glory. "Now when these

heads, because your redemption draws near. "

The Fig Tree represents ISRAEL – see:

Jesus said that when the Fig Tree (Israel) buds once
again, the Kingdom of God is near:
“Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means
