Classroom Management Plan

Student Expectations:
-Students are expected to follow all directions and class rules
-Students are expected to be ready to learn with all materials for class
-Students are expected to be on time
-Students are expected to be respectful to the teacher, classmates, and themselves
-Students are encouraged to participate but specially with raised hands

Classroom Setup:
-Classroom will be welcoming and loving
-Classroom will be set up into centers with corresponding activities
-Classroom will have all safety procedures posted at student eye level

Teacher Management:
-The teacher will be knowledge able about the subject matter
-The teacher will use effective modeling behaviors
-The teacher is willing to change, take risks, and be held accountable
-The teacher is a capable communicator
-The teacher exhibits a wide range of interests
-The teacher shares a healthy sense of humor
-The teacher is reliable

Grading:
-The students will receive a grade in any late work as long as its handed in before the unit
being taught ends
-Any late assignments will be accepted after the unit ends but will receive no grade
-All work/quizzes are allowed to be redone but a meeting with the teacher must be
arranged first
-Test will be given but will only have 15% effect on final grade
-Quizzes will have a 30% effect on final grade
-Homework will have a 30% effect on final grade
-Group projects will have a 20% effect on final grade
-Attendance/participation will have a 5% effect on final grade

Consequences:
-Students will be spoken to one on one with the teacher
-Student will lose recess/play time
-Student will have a letter sent home
-Student will have a conference
