Significance of the Study

Companies- the research would present an enormous contribution to companies through


receiving diverse suggestions from different consumers, thus, serves as a platform to
reconsider marketing strategies, competitive intelligence about market leaders, track industry
trends, opportunities and threats, inform marketing, brand, strategy and market development,
sales and supply functions.

Skincare Users- the research would give awareness to skincare users; clarification from what
products they use and factors they base on. Consumers – whether consciously or
subconsciously – weigh a variety of factors. Through this research, they would have a sense
of specification in consuming not only skincare products but also in other products.

Business Enthusiasts- Alike with the benefits that companies would receive, business
enthusiasts are also benefited through the suggestions and ideas from first-hand users. It
would suggest marketing strategies and business techniques.

Other Researchers- The research would be a related literature for other researchers
regarding skincare products and the consumption of such.

Non-skincare Users- They would have suggestions on skin care products that they are about
to use, if they ever will. The research contains factors that consumers consider before buying
skincare products, and it would be a big help for non skincare users to have a platform they
could base on.

The Researchers- The research would be one of the requirements of their subject teachers in
order to pass the subject and as belonging to a business-oriented academic track, the research
would help them gain competitive intelligence about marketing.
