TRAINING DESIGN
I. Training Proposal
II. Rationale:
Physical activity offers one of the greatest opportunities to extend years of active
independent life, reduce disability, and improve the quality of life for young and adults.
Unfortunately, simply disseminating information about the health benefits of moderate physical
activity does not appear to be sufficient to increase participation levels. We need to document
best practices to help community settings reproduce proven, safe, and effective physical activity
programs.
III. Objectives:
The school training aims to:
1. Assess the teacher’s and learners level of fitness
2. Identify strengths and areas for development/improvement
3. Determine bases for the selection of physical activities for enhancement
4. Gather and analyse data for norms and standards setting
5. Equip the teachers with knowledge in the administration of PFT.
a. Teachers will be more efficient and effective in the administration of physical fitness test.
b. Teachers will be more equip with knowledge in the administration of physical fitness
test.
V. Project Planning
B. Implementation Proper
July 3, 2015
C. Post Implementation
1. Preparation of the documentation of the training
2. Dissemination of information on the training.
