INTRODUCTION

● SAP Smart Forms is used to create and maintain forms with minimum
programming efforts.

● Easy to create the form without much programming knowledge.

● It is a GUI Tool which is used to design the business documents of

sap.
FEATURES OF SMARTFORMS

● Data retrieval and form logic are separated from each other.

● Reduces the implementation cost.

● It generates a function module when the smartform are activated.

COMPONENTS OF SMARTFORMS
There are two main nodes in Smartforms.
1. Global settings
> Form attributes
> Form interface
> Global definition.
2. Pages and Windows.

● Page is used to define the layout of a smartform.

● Each form consists of one or more pages.

● The page layout includes the page format and the position of windows
on a page .
WINDOWS
There are four types of windows:

1. Main window
2. Secondary window
3. Copies window
4. Final window
