COVID-19 AND DIGITALIZATION

(Divide this topic in three sections:
1. E-Earning
2. E-Learning
3. E- Governance)

1- E-Earning:

 Online outlets of brands

 Careem, Zoom meetings, Google meets, Ali baba, Netflix, Jazz cash, Food panda, etc

2- E-Learning:

 Online teaching
 Not a new concept but exponential shift towards Online learning
 Online classes
 Virtual University
 Tele schools
 Elite school system was the first to go online; because of financial capacity, students &
teachers being equipped with online technology
 Public sector schools could not afford zoom or other facilities for long; they started using
WhatsApp classes, Zoom offers 45 min classes online so there was a major shift towards it
too.
 Tele schools; online academies is a big business now in Pak. Some of the best teachers for
Science & arts subjects are teaching via online classes.

3- E-Governance: has promoted

 meetings and then a collective policy is decided.

 Virtual/E-governance is on the rise
 digitalization on the rise
 E-Conferences = UNGA, OIC, ASEAN, EU etc

POST COVID-19 WORLD WILL BE CHANGED WORLD OR PEOPLE WOULD BE ABLE TO ADJUST TO
IT???

 Human beings – the most versatile specie

 Global pandemics, Crisis; but human beings have been displaying more and more
adjustability
 Human beings also adjusting with Corona:
 In the 1st wave; human beings’ response was an extreme one – confused response, no
clarity, State response & International orgs. Response was also confused
 With unfolding of the pandemic; the fear is slowly fading away & human beings are adjusting
to it gradually
 Sanitizers & Masks were used enormously & hoarding of essential precautionary items was
on its peak; but now:
 Fear factor is decreasing due to the adjustability of humans
 So post Covid-19 world wouldn’t be a changed world because humans will adjust to it; but
evolution of technology will definitely have taken place
