Olsen Acorn Run State Park

Open all year from dawn to dusk daily, Acorn Run State Park is located on State Road 47, just
south of Interstate 30 in Boone County. After entering our state park, you will marvel at the
breathtaking views as you explore our 2,800-acre public park. Take in our many outdoor
activities, spend the evening in our rustic inn or in one of our private cabins, and dine in our
restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

• Canoe for a half or full day trip on Templeton River
• Fish in a private boat on Mason Lake
• Hike more than 15 trails of varying difficulty levels
• Horseback ride with a trained guide
• Swim on a public beach or Olympic-sized outdoor pool

Fees
You can purchase access to certain recreational activities or to the entire park. Day,
week, and annual passes are available. Although the park is open all year, some
areas are accessible seasonally.
