Critique and Position Brief

The Youth of the Succeeding Generation
I. Introduction
Youth are known to be the future leaders and professionals of the new
generation. They are trained at an early age to become successful in life and to be able
to face and overcome challenges on their own which they’re about to encounter
someday. As part of the youth, they contain critical thinking skills which they develop
from time to time and also understand the world they belong with. It’s not always about
having enjoyment but also being concern of the world around you. Also, since they are
developing into adults, they must still be guided for them to be able to impart a wise
decision that is also beneficial for their future.
There are organizations around the world that gives importance and provides
development with advocating the youth to get involve and be the voice of the society.
One of them was the National Youth Commission and International Association of Youth
and Students for Peace, both emphasizes the youth involvement when it comes to
empowerment and be educated for the improvement of the society. Moreover, imparting
them to peace and be one of the nation-builders of the community. They’re main focus
lies on the youth by providing them knowledge and teaching them as they become the
future leaders of the community.
II. Body
In the Regional Youth Forum, they discussed some important terms like
communism and how it affects our society. It is said that communism will have its final
marks if they have been able to overthrow the existing social conditions. Moreover, it
was concluded that this encourages a violent revolution. They needed some sort of
these so-called philosophical weapons, so that this individuals or known to be the
chosen proletariats will be armed enough to go and achieve their plan. The following are
these economic theories stating that capitalists must be vanish. It was also mentioned in
this forum about the dialectical materialism, in which this emphasizes the act of murder
and the historical materialism which promotes the time to act at this very moment rather
than another day.
The term dialectical materialism was furthered explained through this certain
points which discussed by Dr. Edgar Tanate. In dialectical materialism, it is divided into
three parts: (a) contradiction of opposites; (b) transformation of quantity into quality and;
(c) negation of the negation. The contradiction of opposites substantiates the term
known as class struggle, this means that the classes which are evident in the society
are meant to oppose and cause misunderstandings to each other. Next, the
transformation of quantity into quality emphasizes the act of revolution. Lastly, the
negation of the negation expounds the goals and necessity of communism.
Hence, this study according to him, obviously promotes a kind of revolution which
is bloody and violently harmful. And according to one of the famous newspapers, Le
Figaro dated 1978, more than 150 million people have been died due to communism.
He also further elaborated this contradiction of opposites. He stated that there are two
elements opposites with each other and also contradicting towards each other called
the thesis and the antithesis according to the communism teaching. It is mentioned that
once these two elements gain conflict with each other, a new element will emerge which
known to be the term called synthesis, and this synthesis is way better than them.
It is interconnected to the subject since it talks about the movement of the society
in a community. It also gives an overview of how a certain discipline can affect a lot of
sectors of the society. For an example, in the economic factors, if conflicts cause by
communism emerges, a lot of casualties will happen which cause the economic
breakdown and crisis will arise in the community. Political concepts will be affected and
states will somehow be anarchical.
III. Analysis
Based on the premises provided, communism can cause a lot of harm and
unending battles which cause further damage to our community. Furthermore, it is more
like a territorial factor, disputes must be evident for the gaining of influences and to be
able to achieve the goals they about to pertain. And competition is the main agenda or
solution for the betterment of the society. It also cause a lot of trouble that may affect
not just one but a lot of people living in the community. Continuous battles and
competitions will always be evident in two conflicting sides and a win-lose game will
always be evident in this kind of situation.
IV. Recommendation to the Government and Society as a Whole
With these unending conflict and evidence of communism in the community,
these are the following points that want to be notice or reconsider:
Since the government is the one who maintains the order of this society,
analyzing the points and sentiments of these so-called communists must be heard.
Wars, battles, competitions, violent acts of revolution and other unethical norms
that cause destruction to the community will always never or should never be a last
resort in order for the society become better.
Unity, a uniting nation must always be the priority, joining together as one in
order to resolve the conflicts and other issues that the country is facing as time goes by
is much better than diversified system of resolving the issue, besides, why do we need
to be diversified if all has the common goal which is to eradicate and overcome the
problems that continues to unravel in the community.
Cooperation, unity can never be effective if the society cannot cooperate with
each other, it will become useless. Showing cooperation by providing ways or sharing
insights or thoughts for a possible solution to a certain problem is useful to be able to
resolve this issue very easily.
Maintaining peace throughout the community is truly the better ambiance rather
than waging wars with each other. We must not forget the casualties may cause by
these battles. Disputes can be resolve through negotiations rather than war, it is much
more of a peaceful act and casualties and harm to people may be prevented. Moreover,
crisis can also be avoided if this may be prioritized. Also, being a critical thinker in
listening to the points of each other’s side rather than being close minded is much more
of recommended gesture to avoid further conflict.
V. Conclusion
Communism is definitely a death march for humanity, as mentioned by Dr. Edgar
Tanate. Therefore, communism can be seen as the cause of destruction of the society.
They’re primary task was to promote revolution perhaps for a new world that they about
to build. But we must not forget that communism will never arise if there are no greedy
humans who are selfish enough to gain more wealth and power. Both sides have their
own drawbacks when it comes to the points they are pertaining, instead of blaming each
other, cooperating with each other to resolve these disputes is much more a better
solution.
VI. Way Ahead
I see and definitely hope that someday, conflicts within the society have been
able to resolve and there is unity between each other. Moreover, a more better and
peaceful society will be evident and cooperation with each other to resolve disputes and
issues for the betterment of the community may be able to see later on.
