SAP is an Enterprise Resource Planning Software. It integrates various systems in a single module, making it easier to
track the flow of resources from one department in an organization to another. FICO, on the other hand, stands for
Financial Accounting and Control. In a nutshell, SAP Fico consultants design, build and deploy business solutions on the
SAP framework.

These consultants are critical to a business because they understand the business requirements, prepare blueprints for
implementing a particular project, and sort out the daily activities required for execution. An organization may hire them as
in-house staff or external help. A consultant working in-house would also monitor the project after it's gone live, but
external consultants can only follow through till launch.
