SUBJECT: Feedback Report on the Official Travel to Camarines Norte

This is to provide you with the highlights of the travel to Camarines Norte last June 1-4, 2010
for the purpose of acting as a Resource Person during the Skills Enhancement Training on Curriculum
Planning and Development for the Day Care Workers of Five (5) Municipalities in Camarines Norte.

June 1-2 Provided technical assistance on Curriculum Planning, and Brain Development to 50
DCWs from the Municipalities of San Vicente, Basud and Labo however according to
MSWDO of Labo only 25 out of 70 DCWs were able to attend. She is planning to
sponsor the same separate training to accommodate the rest of the DCWs.
Paticipants were able to enjoy the brain development topic and were able to correct
the misconception of doing their session plan for 3-4 years old children. Creative
activities were also given emphasis during the training.
June 3-4 Undersigned worker was the Resource Speaker for the same training to
Municipalities of Jose Panganiban and Paracale. There were sixty-six (66) DCWs
attended the two-day training on Brain Development and Curriculum/Session
planning. DCWs were refreshed of the proper way of doing their weekly session
plans and how to go about their creative activities. Some were even very honest to
share that they do not have a uniform way of doing their curriculum which confuses
most of them. All DCWs of both Municipalities were present to learn and enjoy the
training.

The PASW I and the PSWDO sponsored the training and were able already to finish eight (8)
Municipalities, only three municipalities are waiting of their schedule this month of June.

SUBJECT: Feedback Report on the Official Travel to Sta. Magdalena, Sorsogon

This is to provide you with the highlights of the travel to Sta. Magdalena, Sorsogon last June
15-17 for the purpose of providing technical assistance as a Resource Person during the 3-day
Training on ECCD Program for the Day Care Workers.

Hereunder are the highlights of the training:

- The 3-day training was sponsored by the LGU; it was attended by fifteen (15) day care
workers of the Municipality.
- Undersigned worker focused the discussion on Brain Development, Curriculum Planning
and Accreditation Tools. The Day Care Workers were provided with new knowledge on how brain
works and look like; they were also refreshed of how to be able to come up with their weekly session
plan.
- ECCD Checklist Administration was also part of the training and was discussed by staff from
PSWDO Sorsogon, Ms. Lutgarda Escalante and Ms. Gina Bonos.
- The activity was very timely for the enrollment and opening of classes for this year.
According to DCWs, they were able to prepare themselves of the accreditation process while the
MSWDO believed that they will now perform well in terms of their session and documentation.
- The MSWDO is planning to have another training next summer which will focus now on
creative activities and program material making which will enhance more the skills of DCWs in
teachingchildren.
