Outcome-Based Education
( OBE ), also
known as standards-based
education, is an educational theory that bases
each part of an ​educational system around
goals ​(outcomes). By the end of ​the
educational experience, each student should
have achieved the goal.​1

It is a act or process of ​collecting ​and
interpreting ​information about ​student
learning​. It is a very useful ​tool ​for
educational improvement​.

Measurement
in education is the process
of quantifying or ​assigning grades ​to the
individual’s intelligence, personality,
attitudes and values, and ​achievement ​of
the students.
Example: ​Jenny got 82 in her art project, while her
twin sister, Jessica got 94.

Evaluation
in education is the process of

Example: ​Jessica is more inclined to Arts than
Jenny.
Test
in education is the ​formal and
systematic ​instrument, usually paper
and ​pencil procedure designed to ​assess
the quality, ability, skill or knowledge of
the students by giving a set of question
in ​uniform​ ​manner.
