Revolution

A revolution is a fundamental change in the existing order of things often swift.

There are various types of revolutions for example social, political, economic and
cultural.

A Political revolution- takes place in society and is usually concerned with


government. This is when an individual or government is removed or replaced by
another.

Examples of political Revolutions- The Haitian Revolution, The Cuban Revolution,


The Grenadian Revolution, The French Revolution, The American revolution

Economic Revolution

An economy is the ways in which people use their environment to meet their
material needs. This includes the production, exchange, distribution and
consumption of goods.

An economic revolution would be achange in the way people use their


environment to meet their material needs.

Examples of Economic revolutions- The Agrarian Revolution, The Industrial


Revolution in England from 1750, The Sugar Revolution in the British West
Indies in the 1600s.

Social Revolution

A social revolution is a sudden change in the Structure and nature of society.
