PRODUCTION PLAN:

Production planning in a chemical industry can be best done using the Agile methodology having
modular and iteration options at every stage. Being a Software and a Chemical business
entrepreneur for over two decades, I am easily able to see many similarities in both the
processes. In this post, I would be sharing the method of production planning in a chemical unit,
using the agile process, which is fairly common in the software industry. The chemical, technical
and chemical business processes of different industries are quite diverse and different from each
other.

PRODUCTION PLANNING FOR PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY:

Is the preparation of detailed plan to manufacture a product. Production planning is a production
process of looking a head anticipating possible difficulties and deciding in advance as to how to
produce the products.

OBJECTIVES OF PRODUCTION PLANNING:

• Planning is required to produce economical products with in time.
• To avoid difficulties in production and marketing of products.
• Planning is needed for meeting and changing economic social conditions seasonal
demands and marketing fluctuations.
• In case of series of operations are involved in the production of a product then planning
will improves the efficiency and effectiveness.
• To increase productivity too.

• Production system may be defined as a framework of activities with which the inputs are
transformed into value added products.

• The pharmaceutical industry is constantly growing. Even in times of economic

recessions, many companies experience increasing customer demands, which require
increased throughput of all steps in the product value stream.
• In the life sciences sector, the QC organization is a key factor in delivering products on-
time to the market. While most operations managers take into account manufacturing
capacity, QC is often the bottleneck when meeting greater demand.

MANAGEMENT TEAM PLAN FOR PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY:

Robert Peale is a pharmacist at a local drug store. His experience in the medical field gives him a
great advantage in building a pharmaceutical business. Before pursuing a career in the medical
field, he attended, where he earned a degree in Business Management, which means he is not
only capable of saving lives but also managing a business.

Pain away ltd management team will also include registered pharmacists and highly skilled and
trained employees that will contribute greatly to its success.

Hiring Plan:
Robert Peale will serve as the CEO. In order to launch our pharmacy, we need to hire the
following personnel:

• Pharmacists
• Stock and inventory managers
• Cashiers
• Delivery personnel
• Maintenance personnel
• General & administrative functions including marketing, bookkeeping, etc.
