ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR ADMISSION INTO RASHTRIYA INDIAN MILITARY COLLEGE,

DEHRADUN FOR THE TERM JANUARY-2022 (NOTIFICATION NO. 03/2021)

Rashtriya Indian Military College has issued Notification for the Entrance
Examination for admission into VIII Class in the R.I.M.C., Dehradun for the Term January-
2022. The Written Examination will be held on 05.06.2021 (Saturday) at Vijayawada. The
Viva-Voce will be held on 06.10.2021 (Wednesday). Only Boys are eligible for applying
to the entrance examination.

Candidates appearing for the above test should not be less than 111/2 years in
age and should not have attained the age of 13 years as on 01.01.2022 i.e., they should
not be born earlier than 01.01.2009 and not later than 01.07.2010. Candidates should
either be studying in Class VII or passed Class VII from any recognized School at the
time of admission to the RIMC i.e., on 01.01.2022 exclusively from the State of Andhra
Pradesh.

Procedure to obtain Application Forms is as hereunder:

a) Online payment: The prospectus-cum-application form and booklet of old

question papers can be obtained by making online payment on RIMC website
www.rimc.gov.in
OR

b) By Sending Demand Draft: The prospectus-cum-application form and booklet of

old question papers can be obtained from the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Garhi
Cantt, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Pin-248003 or from the Asst. Secretary (Exams), A.P.
Public Service Commission, New Heads of the Department’s Building, 2nd Floor, Near RTA
Office, Opp: Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium, M.G. Road, Vijayawada, Andhra
Pradesh-520010 by sending written request with a Demand Draft of Rs. 600/-for General
candidates and Rs.555/- for ST/SC candidates along with Caste Certificate in favour of
“The Commandant, RIMC, Dehradun”, Drawee Branch: State Bank of India, Tel Bhavan
(Bank Code-01576), Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The address should be TYPED / WRITTEN
clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS with pin code and contact number. RIMC / APPSC will not
be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit of prospectus caused by illegible or
incomplete address. The requisition for prospectus-cum-application form shall reach on
or before 31.03.2021.

Filled-in application forms in duplicate along with necessary certificates should

be sent to the Asst. Secretary (Exams), A.P. Public Service Commission, New Heads of
the Departments’ Building, 2nd Floor, Near RTA Office, Opp: Indira Gandhi Municipal
Stadium, M.G. Road, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh-520010 on or before 15.04.2021.
(Kindly note the filled-in application forms should be sent to the APPSC only and not to
the RIMC, Dehradun).
