My Ideal Classroom

If I were to get the job of my dreams and teach 1st grade, I would want my

classroom to have an open layout but still have some kind of separation for

different learning areas. As you first enter the classroom, there would be cubbies

for the students to put away their belongings before going to their desks. I would

have the arts and crafts area in the far back corner of the classroom. This space

would have four tables where each desk could fit two students with plenty of

room for their work. The shelf along the wall would be stocked with art supplies

such as various papers, pens, pencil paints, coloring crayons, and more. The back

wall would have a line and clothespins for the art to be hung and dried. The next

area would be the student's desks lined up facing the front of the class and the

teacher's desk with a projector in the center of the room. There would also be the

computer lab and reading nook on the other side of the room.
