TRANSFER SWITCH
(in aN petign) —————|
The cutput, whether from the automa-
tie or manual Control unit, is indicated
cn the dial of the manual anit.
When the transfer switch is in AUTO,
the flapper positicn and relay diaphrage
presgure continually track the output of
the automatic contre) uit. Thus when
‘the Granafer switch 1s moved to MAN, the
output gonsrated by the manual unit’ will
match the last output in AUTO,

There 1s a linkage (not shown) con=
necting the transfer awiteh and the
manual adjustment thumbwheel. When the
tronsfer switch is tn MAN, thie linkage
moves the Unumbyiieel to céntact the
flapper ami. Since tuming the thunb-
wheel causes the clearance between the
Flapper and nozzle to change, the output
(in Man) can be varied by adjusting the
thunbwneel.

It is recomended that a calibration fixture (Part cOLIBS, obtainable from The Foxboro
Company) be used. If this fixture is not used, connections must be made ct rear of manual
control unit.
1. Move transfer switch to AUTO. Remove
