Task 1 (911 Emercengy)

Ramon: "Nine-one-one operator. What is your emergency?"


 
Daniela: There´s been an accident.

Ramon: I need to ask you for the following information.

Ramon: What is your name?

Daniela: My name is Daniela.

Ramon: What is the phone Number you´re calling from?

Daniela: My number phone is 8764-3492

Ramon: Is anyone hurt?


 
Daniela: I am not sure. My husband just hurt his leg.
 
Ramon: Where are you at?
 
Daniela: We are on the corner of the food restaurant

Ramon: tell me exactly what happened ?

Daniela: I made the mistake of crossing the wrong way and crashed heavily into
another car.
 
Ramon: Please stay on the line.

Ramon: okay miss. Could you give me your exact address please?
 
Daniela: Okay.

Daniela: I am located in the boulevard Morazan in front of Ruby Tuesday


 
Ramon: I am sending emergency vehicles your way.
 
Daniela: How long will it take for them to arrive?
 
Ramon: They should be there in a couple of minutes. How many cars were in the
crash?
 
Daniela: Two cars.

Ramon: Can you help me with the description of the car? License plate number,
car color.

Daniela: of course, the license plate number is: KKT-4295 and the color car is red.

Ramon: Do you know how many people were injured?

Daniela: we all feel good, just my husband a little hurt.


Task 2 (Send a Package)

Daniela: Hi, I have to send this parcel to my Cousin in USA tomorrow morning.
What do you think’s the best way to send it?

Ramon: What is it?

Daniela: It’s personal things like posters and action figures.

Ramon: What time’s it got to be there?

Daniela: Well, ideally, by about 10 o’clock.

Ramon: Hm, well you could send it by Express shipping. They’ve got guaranteed
delivery by 9 am next day.

Daniela: Yeah, I could do that, but what would be the cost?

Ramon: Well, the cost would be 100 dollars.

Daniela: It´s too expensive to me.

Ramon: If you like something cheaper I offer you the surface mail, by the cost of
40 dollars.

Daniela: How long would it take?

Ramon: It would take around 1 week because it’s a regular mail.

Daniela: OK, I think that sounds like the best option. My Cousin must wait.

Ramon: It’s a bit cheaper than Express Shipping, but it’s worth it.

Daniela: Yes, What do I have to do send the parcel?

Ramon: Ok, don´t worry. We prepare the parcel for the Shipping.

Daniela: Oh, that’s sound great, but what do you do that?

Ramon: Well, first step is wrap the package. Second step is weight the box. And
the third step Write the address.

Daniela: Can you give me a five minutes?, I need to talk with my cousin for his
address.
Daniela: Hi Ramon, how are you?

Ramon: I’m fine, It´s a pleasure talk with you.

Daniela: I´m in the post office for the shipping of your things and I need your
address.

Ramon: Oh thanks, Sure. My address is Brooklyn; New York, 3557 Park street.

Daniela: Thanks, in a week you will have the things in your house. Bye.

Ramon: Excuse me, You got the address?

Daniela: Of course is Long Island New York, 1224 Park

Ramon: thank you.


Task 3 (Employer looking for the best candidate)

Ramon: Hi Daniela, Ramon Hernadez.

Daniela Nice to meet you.

Ramon: Have a seat. So Daniela, I've read over your application, and I see that
you have some experience in Business Administrator. Is that right?

Daniela Yes, it is. Actually, I've worked for three consumer companies since I
: graduated from college.

Ramon: And what positions did you have?

Daniela My first experience was in Tigo for 2 years, Kimberly Clark for 5 years
: and Puma Energy for 6 month.

Ramon: And in all those years in which areas did you perform?

Daniela Yes. For the past three years I've been working as a junior copywriter at
: Kenyon Barnett.

Bob: So, tell me about your work there.


Karen: I've gradually taken on more responsibility over the years. I now work
directly with the art director on different campaigns and I take part in
planning meetings and reviews.
Bob: Can you tell me about a specific ad campaign you worked on?
Karen: Our most successful campaign was for The Candy Factory.
Bob: The Candy Factory? I've seen those ads on TV.
Karen: I was responsible for all the copy that appeared in the television, radio,
and print ads.
Bob: You did a great job.
Karen: Thank you. We worked really hard on it.
Bob: So, Karen. Do you have any questions for me?
Karen: When do I start?
