Policies to accelerate economic diversification and strengthen human
development and equitable growth
The goal of the macroeconomic policy of Angola is to create conditions for
stability, effectiveness, and efficiency in the economy in order to ensure long- term stability. The reason for the creation of policies that accelerate economic diversification and strengthen human development and equitable growth is that Angola’s economy has deflated since 2015 and the government has been fighting poverty for a number of years now. The goal of this policy is to reduce or eradicate malnutrition in children mostly from 0-5 years of age and to provide health care plans to expecting mothers and their children. The goal of this plan is to reduce or prevent NCDs (Noncommunicable diseases). Deliver health services to different communities. Better access to health care plans.
Education- reducing fees or free public education
Primary and Secondary education is free in Angola. Some students do not continue schooling especially girls because they choose to help their families in the household. Many schools were destroyed and looted during the civil war. Students need to bring their own materials at school With the help of UNICEF to overcome crowded classrooms, the government is building more classrooms and schools to over compensate the demand for education.
