1. Title of the project:

DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING OF PROGRESSIVE TOOL FOR BOTTLE OPENER.

2. Objective of the project:

The main objective of this project work is to develop an understanding about the basic part
of the progressive tool, and basic machining involved in manufacturing of this tool.

NTTF has designed quality objectives to achieve the overall goal and develop each
individual, undergoing training to expertise the trainees during the training period itself
NTTF formulated one of the objectives as “To Inculcate the Culture; Produce While
Learning and Learn While Producing”.

3. Detailed methodology to be used for carrying out the project:

Press tools are mainly manufactured for high rate of sheet metal component production.
This is a sheet metal component which can produced in a progressive press tool.

4. The expected outcome of the product:

 Bottle opener is used to open metal bottle caps
 Easy to manufacture in bulk.
