First I was so delighted to finish my lovely

sandcastle. " It's the best sandcastle we've
ever made, " I exclaimed to my mother and
sister. They both were gazing at it. Next, I
got an idea to add a decorative tall tower as
an extension. I jumped to my feet to fill sand
into my pail. Just then, I heard a roar behind
me. My sister pointed to the sea.I turned
back. I caught sight of a great wave. It was
rolling towards the castle. "Oh no ," I wailed
throwing up my arms in the air. "Crash!"my
masterpiece was knocked down in no time.
All my efforts were washed away by this
merciless wave. I stared at the flat ground
nearly in tears. "Don't worry Tom, you can
make a better sandcastle when we come
back next time, "my mom soothed me. I
wiped away my tears, smiling at my mom.
Last, we headed home with the hope of
visiting the beach again soon.
