Educated Essay
Education is defined as “ the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of

knowledge, skills, values, morals, beliefs, and habits” or as “ an enlightening experience.”

Education and the system of education have always been controversial and have always been

argued and debated in multiple dimensions such as its importance and place in people's lives,

whether people need it or not and what education really is. Elon Musk has said in an interview

that you don’t need to go to college to get an education because of the internet but there are

others that think the opposite. Although many people look at a good education as something

that can only be acquired through formal schooling and college, education can come from

everywhere, take the form of anything, and be about anything as it is the process of learning.

Education has no definitive meaning even though society today has morphed and

shaped education into one singular definition. This means that some people believe in other

forms of education than the “traditional” sense and others believe in that “traditional” sense

that has been taught to most children since childhood. Insert quote/quick summary and

analysis/explanation. Both versions or ways of learning, that being homeschooled and being

educated in universities and schools, in this instance, can allow anyone to be well educated.

They would just be educated in different ways and in different topics, subjects, and ideals which

would help them in different scenarios and different environments.

Education should be about what the person learning wants to explore and experience.

Education should not teach things that would have no use for the ones being educated. What a

person learns or wants to learn should be specific, not generalized like the school system today.

be changed and refined to be specific and personalized to each person for someone to be well

educated.

Some may say that the education system right now is perfect but others will say that a

more personalized education with more specificity and focus on one area of expertise allow for

a better education. Tim Leuing said that the education system that is in place now as it is not

about the information being learning but how and why you learn it.
