 Conclusion

From the information I gathered on social media, I learned that Veterans are
constantly slandered and cast aside by the average public. Many feel violated
by the underspending of the government on Veterans Affairs, and some even
see the support of politicians as fleeting, only rising during election years.
Public figures are noticing this downfall of our government, and are using their
platforms to draw attention to veterans and ways to help them. The
experiences with poor mental health and homelessness that veterans struggle
with every day is unacceptable, and from my social media research, I have
concluded that lack of support for U.S. Veterans is rampant across the country,
not just in our local community.
