Overview

Mineral processing is the first process that most ores undergo after mining in order to provide
a more concentrated material for the procedures of extractive metallurgy.

Course Objectives

1. To provide a detailed understanding of the primary operations in a modern mineral


processing plant.
2. To appreciate Metallurgical processes and how they link with mining.
3. To appreciate the role that a mining engineer plays in successful implementation of
Metallurgical processes.
