Mock Interview Reflection

1. What steps did you take to prepare for the mock interview?

I reviewed the questions most commonly asked. I practiced speaking in proper full sentences.

2. How did you feel while you were being interviewed?

I felt a little nervous. But I think I appeared confident the whole time.

3. Reflect on your actual responses. Did you feel your responses were adequate or could you

have done better?

I could’ve had better answers. I feel some of my responses weren’t too in depth how I wanted

them to be. I should’ve taken a couple more seconds to think about a few questions then have

answered them.

4. What questions do you feel you answered well? Explain.

I think the question I answered well is what my motivation is. Doubt motivates me. So does

family. I brought in personal connections to motivation that I think really touched the person

interviewing me.

5. What questions do you feel you could have answered better? How would you have

answered them differently?

I could’ve answered what my strengths were better. I used basic answers like good

communication and a good work ethic.

6. What areas did your teacher mark as strengths?

She said I was very positive and eager to learn and work.

7. What areas did your teacher mark as needing improvement? In what ways do you plan to

improve your performance in these areas?

I get too ahead of myself . I need to slow down and take things one step at a time.
