8 Usa ene About the Pattern : This Amigurumi Monkey Family Pattern created by Rabbiz Design will guide you through adopting the three lovely monkeys. They share the same pattern with the same size of 4 x 3 inches. (Size may vary depends on the yarn used). Before you begin, please read the whole pattern carefully. Tail: begin with chain, make 1 piece You'll need the skill in begining the work with chain and yarn color changing. The size of your finished monkey will also depend on the amount of the fiberfill you've stuffed to your toy. They also share the same as- semble methods except their face. According to the photo shown on the left, when you've finished working on the head, it should be look like the same. Base yam can be dark brown, light brown, or any color of your choice. The face is crocheted in beige yam. First of all, use yarn left from making the ears the sew After Before up the untidy stitches (see photo on the left) and then follow the instruction below to sew up the hole on the ears J before you attach them to the head. Use beige yarn sew up the une tidy stitches and use the base yarn ‘to sew up the hole. It should be left about a foot of base yarn to attach to the head. if you want to make the grinning face, use white felt and cut it into the shape you want. Then, sew it to the chin with embroidery floss, Hide the floss behind the white felt (as a mouth). When finished, use red brown yam to sew up around the felt to make its lips. And you'll get the chin like that illustrated above. The next step, we will attach the chin to the head. Before you attach it, stuff a little amount of fiberfill into the chin and pin it to the head with sewing pins. if you want to make a wide chin monkey, stuff more fiberfil. Note that the upper chin should be attach to the 14 Rnd of the head (count from the beginning) while the lower chin is attached to the center of the neck. Rabbix's Amigurumi Monkeys | PB 6 In order to attach the chin to the head, after you pin them together, use the yarn left from the chin to sew up. The trick is sew the matched stitched on the head and the chin together and continue working on the next stitch until finish. You can also stuff more fiberfill while attach them together. But please notice that stuffing too much fiberfill will destroy your monkey face's shape. Then, it’s time to at- tach the ears to the head. Put the ears on the Rnd 7 from the beginning of the head, Pin them with sewing pins before you start attach them to the head. Put the yam needle up and down through the stitches appear on the end of the ears. Pull the yams left from the as- sembly through the neck to hide them, Use brown embroidery floss to make their eye- browns and use the red J brown yam to sew up the lines of the eyes. Their eyebrowns are on the 3ind of the beige yarn part, each of them are about 6 stitches away from each other. Ihe eyelines are 3 stitches away from each other. Rabbiz's Amigurumi Monkeys | PB 7 a y To attach the arms, sew up the hole in the end of GB them before sew up them to the body. (follow the photos shown above). When finished, you should have the body as } shown on the left. Po Then, use sewing pin to locate the location of the legs. According to the legs pattern, your legs should be match with the curve of the body shape. Stuff some fiber- fill on the legs before attach them to the body. Rabbi's Amigurumi Monkeys | Pe Then, sew up head and body together. You can design the gesture of your monkey before at- tach them. When finished, attach the tail in the mid- dle of the monkey's back (Left or right side depends ‘on your desire), Now... You've finished adopting your own little monkey) Flower Pattern: Description : To make the flower, use the yellow yarn and begin with magic ring. Once you've done 5 chains, change to white yarn. (See photos on the right) Rnd 1 6 sc into magic ring Rnd 2 [SL ST, CH 4, sc in 2nd st from hook, 2 sc, SL ST on next st of the Rnd 1] REP 4 times until you've got 5 petals. Rnd 3 [SL ST, 2 sc, 2 scin next st, 2 sc in next st, 2 sc, SL ST] REP 4 times F/O Make 2 flowers. Then, with areen yarn, do 15 chains and tie 2 flowers together.
