Good afternoon teacher and class, today I’m going to talk about 3 global trends.

The first is about the online shopping. As we know, now we are living a difficult situation that is
the coronavirus pandemic that it’s very difficult to go out into the streets as we did before,
because this virus has killed more than 20,000 people here in Peru. So, many companies have
taken advantage of this situation to make their customers feel more comfortable. For example,
have you ever bought your products in the online store? Maybe, many of us did it. For this
reason, many companies have improved their online sales for people who will want to receive
their shoppings at doors of their houses. Also, the prices for the website are much cheaper than
going to buy in a physical store. But there are also negative situations like the delay of arrival of
the products that might damage the reputation of the company. Next…

The second global trend is about the virtual classes, because this virtual modality is an
interesting way to helps us a lot to be able to continue studying and prepare for the future, but
there are also some disagreements on this modality. For example, in my opinion I’m having little
problems with my internet this week and it's annoying when a class doesn't hear well or that you
don't have a face-to-face interaction with your teacher; but of course, if the situation improves,
we'll return to face-to-face classes. Next…

A last global trend, that we not only live it in this pandemic, but that we live it always and
everywhere that is the pollution that it will damage it in the future, because many companies and
people destroy the nature for build factories or companies that damage the whole world. Many
people try to avoid this problem but they will keep doing this, but I also have to accept that there
are other people going to do everything possible to avoid more damage in these last years. But
what I’m trying to say is we don't know when the world is going to end yet but from my point of
view, if we don't want this to happen, we must take care of the planet for our own good. Next…
