It’s a fact that cheating on online classes has become easier than ever.

The problem is that teachers

don’t teach online schooling as good as before the quarantine, and that leads to students not paying any
attention in class and cheat on their tests. I believe that it’s possible to reduce the need for cheating in
online schooling.

Firstly, the school system and the teachers have to change their teaching plan so it could apply to online
school. Many students have lost their motivation to study because the teaching plan doesn’t work via
computers. For example, the workload is difficult as it only applies before the quarantine. In addition,
students have too much screen time which is more tiring than actually going to school. In my opinion, if
the school system modifies the classes year plan so it’s less hard, students would pay more attention in
class and would probably cheat less.

Secondly, teachers should use computer programs to make classes interesting. There are many ways to
make test non-cheatable. For instance, there is a website called “Kahoot”  that serves as an interesting
and a fun way to do a test. In my opinion, students would attend the class and look forward to an
interesting and fun class.

However, students will always find a way to cheat on their classes. Even before the Covid-19 quarantine,
there were a lot of students who were dishonest in their lessons. Besides, teachers can’t change
anything about it and it’s all up to the students who cheat to change their ways of “learning”.

In conclusion, I believe that it is possible to reduce academic dishonesty, but not to stop it. There is lots
variety of solution to reduce cheating and to make online classes interesting and entertaining at the
same time.
