Question 1

Task 1
Ali plans to hold birthday celebration for his son. He wants to make a cone hat for his
son by using a material that cut in the shape of three quarter of a circle to form a cone
as shown in the diagram below.

Use π= , calculate and state your answer in decimal number:

(a) The area of material needed to form the cone hat. (1 decimal place)
(b) The volume of the cone hat. (2 decimal places)

Task 2
You are required to build a stable 3D model of the cone hat by using any material e.g.
manila card, paper, cardboard, etc. The building steps shall be presented in the form
of video, power point or any medium of presentation.

(b) Choose a suitable graphic to represent the data above.
(c) Determine the mean, median and the modal class of above data.
You may use Microsoft Office Applications such power point, excel or word to
display the result.

Task 2
You are required to explain the work in question 2 using a video that not more
than 3 minutes.
