Assignment / Module: Mediation And Promotion
 
Concept:
 I would like to progress on starting to build a business in children’s photograph,
hopefully by the end of this module I will be well on my way with my own
personal brand identity.

Outcomes:                                         
I would like to produce a business website, a logo, a business name, colour
scheme, social media outlets such as Facebook and Instagram. Some examples of
these would be:

These are only a few examples, I would like to expand on this much further.

Research:                       
Looking at other photographers websites, seeing what I like and don’t like, what
works and doesn’t work and then creating my own from there. Youtube is very
helpful for looking at how to brand your business too.
 
Resources:                           
Internet for logo designs, websites, other photographers work etc
A mentor could help for this by guiding me on what worked for them. Other
designers to give me more ideas on logo and branding etc.
 
Budget:
Initially my budget was minimal but looking at funds I am able to spend a little on
my brand and I would like to do that, I would be looking at spending around £100
to get a professional logo and business card made.
 
Problems: 
I can be quite fussy when it comes to how things look so I may struggle to decide
on a logo and colour scheme etc, I will have to push myself here. Finding the right
designer for the price might be tricky.
 
Action Plan:
I am going to have a go at designing some of my own things but ultimately I would
like the professionalism of a designer to help me. I will build my own website but
logo and business cards I would like to work with a designer on.
