we will talk about some health problems caused by cigarette smoking.
Smoking is the leading and preventable cause of premature death in this country. Cigarette
smoking and exposure to tobacco smoke cause about 480,000 premature deaths each year
in the United States. Of those premature deaths, about 36% are from cancer, 39% are from
heart disease and stroke, and 24% are from lung disease. Death rates among smokers are
almost three times higher than in people who have never smoked
Smoking will damaged almost every organ of the body and organ system of the body and
will decreased the general health of the person. Smoking will caused cancers of the lung,
esophagus, larynx, mouth, throat, kidney, bladder, liver, pancreas, stomach, cervix or
cervix, colon and rectum, as well as acute myeloid leukemia.
Smoking will also cause heart disease, stroke, aortic aneurysm (a balloon-like swelling in
an artery in the chest), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) (chronic bronchitis
and emphysema), diabetes, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, macular degeneration related
to age and cataract, and worsens asthma symptoms in adults. Those who choose to smoke
are at increased risk for pneumonia, tuberculosis, and other respiratory tract infections. In
addition, smoking will caused inflammation and weaken immune function.
Smoking will maked it harder for a woman to get pregnant. A pregnant woman who
smokes is at increased risk of miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, her baby being born
prematurely and with an abnormally low birth weight, and the baby being born with a cleft
lip or palate. A woman who smokes during or after pregnancy increases the risk of her baby
dying from sudden infant death syndrome. Men who choose to smoke have a higher risk of
erectile dysfunction
It is super important to take care of yourself and take care of ours.
