1. I agree that love is only worthwhile if it’s difficult because if it’s easy with no challenges,
it’s boring. My dad has this kind of relationship, it’s like the 50s again. He does pretty
much nothing and expects his girlfriend to clean up after him. He used to get mad at my
mom for not being his maid. If a relationship is like this it means it’s constant, it never
changes, it's the same thing for years to come. Relationships are supposed to have their
ups and downs, you're supposed to learn something from all of it, but if the partners stick
to the same thing all the time, it’s more like being alongside each other rather than with.

2. I agree that love is blind and when you’re really in love, the right choices can be hard to
make because all you want to do, is please that one person. For example, say a guy falls
in love with a girl and he thinks she’s not like the rest, I have to do everything I can to
keep her. With this thought, he turns down opportunities and his family because that’s
 what she wanted and he still thinks, at least I have her. This kind of love keeps you from
seeing what is best for you. You think that what you’re doing is right only because you’re
so infatuated with this person and the thought of losing them is unbearable. Toxic
relationships are pretty easy to find, but when you’re so in love with someone, you don’t
care.

3. I disagree that teenagers can’t understand what true love really is because at that age,
love can be so easy to find and so hard to let go. My friend has a boyfriend and they’ve
been dating for almost 2 years. For a majority of that time they’ve been long distance
and it’s so sad because you can see how much they care for each other. It’s almost like
looking at a married couple. Love can be found at whatever age, especially with teens.
We’re starting to discover stress and problems at home and when we find someone that
is willing to love us like we want our parents to, yes we find true love. Teens are younger
adults. Most of us are mature enough to make decisions like this for ourselves and
adults feel that we are still to young and idiotic. We aren’t. And even if we are, let us
figure that out for ourselves.

4. I disagree with the idea that adults should make decisions for their kids because we
aren’t our parents, we’re people trying to discover who we are. When parents interfere,
they don’t realize how much their kid hates them for it . My dad likes to think that my
opinion doesn't matter since I’m only 14 and I see where he’s coming from but I’m
mature enough to make decisions on my own. People mistake one’s maturity for their
age. I get told I act a lot older than I am and my opinion, I should be respected that way. I
am not fond of my father because he likes to butt in on my life so much. We are two
different people put on this earth to do two different things. Stop trying to change that.

5. I agree that physical attraction must come before true love because it’s very hard to like
someone that you find unattractive. People have crushes on celebrities because they
think they’re attractive. We don’t know the celebrity personally so we can’t like them
based on their personality. The basis to liking someone is thinking they are pretty or hot
or handsome. To like someone in the first place you fall for their looks. In some stories a
girl has to marry some guy her parents chose and it would be easier for her to marry a
hot guy but instead she’s marrying some ugly, short, rich dude. Especially me, who is
somewhat selfish, does not want to wake up every morning next to a guy I can barely
look at. Physical attraction is so so important, which sucks for the ugly people there’s
someone out there for everyone.
