Ans. To the question No.

The readiness level of this certain junior inexperienced employee is “Unable but willing” R2, which falls
into the moderate level. So, as the leader of the group I should follow the “Selling” approach to make
this employee more productive and efficient. I will follow this leadership strategy, because it’s strong on
both mission and partnership. The leader also holds judgment rights about what the junior employee
wants to do, how they can do it, and where it needs to be done, but this arrangement is given in
accordance with sufficient time to address whether the task is necessary and where it falls into the
overall operating framework. I, therefore, consciously respects this employee's passion, curiosity and
devotion to his work and acquiring task-related expertise. His ambition and energy should also be
channelized through the right path to get the best result out of him.

Ans. To the Ques. No. 2

Expectancy theory notes that an individual appears to behave in a certain way depending on the
expectation that a certain result will accompany the act and on the attraction of that result to the
individual.

Now attending the online classes of NSU is related with the expectancy theory in my part. There are
certain rings of motivation to it also along with the flaws. In online classes, it is evident that if there are
the same amount of effort like the offline classes, it will bring out better performance, because there are
always extra more times given by our faculties for the internet issues and all. There is also not the
pressure of sitting in a nervous exam hall. Now, that better performance will lead to a better result in
the courses in the future because of the friendly environment and less pressure. And that attractiveness
of reward, which is the chance of a “better result”, is connected with the individual goal of mine, which
is ending up with a very good CGPA.

Therefore, these are the motivation of attending online classes of NSU for me, using the expectancy
theory.
