1.2 What should | do if | have suspected or confirmed COVID-19?
COVID TeleGabay FAQs v1.2 April 28 2021
IF you have mild COVID-19 symptoms (ex. no difficulty breathing, low-grade fever, mild
cough), you should do self-isolation ex. rest and eat in your own room and, ideally, use
your own bathroom.
If there is no available room for you to use for isolation, you should contact your
Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) so that you can stay in a
‘Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF) for mild COVID cases.
If you have severe COVID-19 symptoms (ex. difficulty breathing, weakness), you need
emergency care. Call the nearest hospital or One Hospital Command Center to find an
available hospital (See "When should | seek emergency medical attention?")
Consult a doctor by voice call or other online means (teleconsultation) or call the nearest
hospital if emergency care is needed.
Quarantine: Close contacts in your household should also stay home because they
might have been infected but are not showing the symptoms yet. They also have to get
tested for COVID-19 as soon as possible. If they have negative tests and have no
COVID symptoms, they still have to stay home and be monitored for symptoms for 14
days from the date of the last exposure toa COVID case.
