Write an argumentative essay: People often say that the world led by men is often
full of conflicts and wars and thus suggest that it is time for women to rule the
world instead. Do you agree or disagree with this view?
World history suggests that conflicts and military actions were more evident
under male leadership than under female leadership. Therefore, for peace to
prevail, Many people think that women would make the world better and bring
about world peace if they took over the world. In my opinion, I am in total
disagreement with this idea.
There are a number of examples in history that show that violence actually
increased under female leaders. For example, Most of the women who are known
to be great till date, e.g. Queen Isabella of Spain, Queen Victoria of Britain and Vo
Tac Thien, the empress of ancient China all have ruled over a vast spectrum of
power. And they did everything, even the ruthless ones, to achieve their goals with
an iron hand. They have waged wars that are barely comparable to only a few of
those devised by men. Of course, we should not and could not judge whether they
are warmongers or not, but their reasons for deploying troops to defense against
other countries seem to have no differences from male leaders when declaring
wars.
On the contrary, to stop viciousness, injustice and unrest all around the world and
to set peace in the world, we need leaders with strong leadership ability and great
features. Leaders should take responsibility for wrong decisions and shortcomings
to rectify them. Leaders should also understand that peace will be achived once
they create a socio-economic balance along with delivering the young generation
quality education and healthcare service.
In conclusion, although I do not refuse to empower women, I think being a female
leader would not provide any competitive advantage to establish the peace. Strong
traits of leadership will ensure peace and justice for the country
