Shri K.MPrasad GM(CWS) |b Valley At the outset, TS to Director (Pers), MCL welcomed Director (Pers), MCL and all Area GMs, HoD (Med. Services) and GM (P-Welfare), MCL H@. He informed the house that Director (Pers) will review the status of our preparation to contain the spread of Covid in our coalfield. Director(personnel),MCL , while initiating the discussion, stressed that all Area GMs must take all preventive actions for stopping the spread of Covid ‘among our employees, their family members and contractual workers. Our emphasis should be to ensure that all preventive measures are taken so that our employees, their family members and contractual workers remain free from the infection and the coal production is continued without any interruption. Thereafter, discussion was held on the following issues and the decisions taken ‘are mentioned against each item: 1) Mask: It was decided that N-95 mask is most effective in the 2 wave and therefore, we have to provide this mask to all our regular employees as well as contractual workers @ § masks per employee per month. The masks are to be provided for one month only in the first instance. All Area GMs are requested to explore the possibility of procurement through GeM within their DoP. The amount beyond their DoP for procurement of masks may be sent to H@ for competent approval.At the end, Dir(Pers), MCL once again advised all Area GMs to take pro-active measures fo save our employees, their family members and contractual workers from the menace of Covid-19. He also assured to extend all help from HQ in their efforts to combat Covid-19. The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the Chair.
