Online classes make conventional classrooms unnecessary.

The application of technology in recent years has affected the world’s education
system on a large scale. When it comes to generating an efficient learning
environment, a school of thought holds that lectures given online far outweigh
what auditoriums can offer. While this thinking is valid to a certain extent, I
believe traditional classrooms are relevant to the developmental stages of many
students.
On the one hand, the surge in virtual classrooms proves to be quite a positive
development. Since lectures are given online, the need to cover high tuition fees
and other expenses such as travel costs will no longer be an abundance to a
person’s financial status. Not only does this practice empower the disadvantaged to
prosper, it also provides the availability to individuals who barely have access to
formal education due to geographical distance. At the same time, students are
enabled to review their online lessons, which can be recorded, multiple times.
Compared to traditional classrooms, such method of online studying will gain
leaners a more thorough insight into the essence of any topic, boosting their
productivity and performance as a result.
On the other hand, students can reap enormous developmental benefits as they
adopt the conventional approach of learning. Distant from online classes, lectures
given in auditoriums provide participants with a sense of connectedness. To be
more specific, they allow room for teachers and students to interact in persons,
making it way more efficient to express emotion and exchange personal ideas.
Participants will develop a sense of belonging and this will add more to their
academic performance in the end. Besides, students can hone practical skills
needed for their future careers through many interactive activities. For example,
interpersonal and collaborative skills can be trained through debates and group
presentations.
All in all, while online classes are affordable and widely accessible, it is the
traditional classrooms that help individuals cultivate much of their qualities.
