1 - Fellow in Body Radiology Imaging (Lahore) SKMCH & RC LAHORE 

Applications are invited for a one-year Fellowship in Body Imaging. The selected candidates will be
exposed to complex and challenging general and oncology cases. The Radiology Department and its
satellite centre are equipped with 2 x 1.5T and open MRI systems including our Philips Ingenia 1.5 Tesla
scanner capable of whole body MRI, DWI & single and multivoxel MR spectroscopy with its intracranial
and extracranial applications, DTI and tractography and MRI guided intervention and biopsies. We have 2
x 64 multi-detector CTs capable of doing high end CT guided peripheral and visceral angiographies,
coronary angiograms and advanced 3D techniques. We have high-end ultrasound suites with facilities for
guided intervention. The Hospital Information System and Radiology Information System (RIS) rely on
PACS in our filmless department. We have excellent Research facilities and working environment to
promote Research.

Eligibility Criteria:

- MBBS
- FCPS or equivalent in Radiology (essential)
- Previous research experience (desirable)

Job Description:

- The selected candidates are expected to provide clinical service predominantly in CT, MRI and
guided biopsies. The Fellows are also expected to assist in some specialized ultrasound with guided and
general Radiology work.

2 - Fellow in Clinical and Radiation Oncology (Lahore) SKMCH & RC LAHORE 

The hospital has a team of UK- and US-trained physicians who provide state of the art diagnostic,
treatment and support facilities to its cancer patients. There is a multi-disciplinary approach to cancer
treatment at the hospital. The hospital is, therefore, ideally suited to offer Hospital fellowship programmes
in Anaesthesia, Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, Pathology, Breast Surgery, Clinical and Radiation
Oncology. These are Hospital fellowship programmes and are not recognized by CPSP. We offer a
unique learning experience that will prepare the selected candidates to become well trained, highly
qualified professionals of international standard. In addition, there is a strong emphasis on research, with
a number of cancer treatment trials in progress at any time. Fellows will be exposed / trained to all the
various aspects of above mentioned disciplines/specialties including in- and out-patient management of
complex cancer patients, management of oncologic emergencies, supportive care and research
methodology.

Eligibility Criteria:

- FCPS in radiation oncology/FRCR clinical oncology.

- Full registration with PMDC.
- Previous research experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and patients.
- Good computer skills.

3 - Fellow in Radiology (PET-CT - Lahore) SKMCH & RC LAHORE 

Applications are invited for a one-year CT/PET fellowship program for individuals who have successfully
completed their training in radiology and passed FCPS examination. The programme is designed to
immerse the fellow in clinical imaging activities with a focus on PET CT, and involvement in PET CT
related research. We have 2 state of the art PET CT facilities, 1 in the SKM main department in Lahore
with an onsite cyclotron and 1 at KDC (Karachi Diagnostic Centre). All reporting is done in Lahore with
state of the art dedicated workstations and excellent remote image link. The hospital information system
and radiology Information system (RIS) rely on PACS in our filmless department. We have excellent
Research facilities with an excellent working environment to promote Research. We are going to launch
our own journal of cancer and allied specialties in near future.

Job Description:

- The selected candidate will participate in structured rotations within diagnostic radiology with a focus
on PET CT.
- They will be expected to become familiar with all aspects of PET CT including performance and
interpretation of PET CT, and supervision of departmental protocols and safety.
- Active participation in the MDTs covering a wide range of adult and paediatric oncological case mix,
lymphoma, BMT.
- The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence and research.
- One peer review publication during this year would be essential.

4 - Fellow in Radiology Breast Imaging (Lahore) SKMCH & RC LAHORE 

Applications are invited for a one-year Fellowship in Breast Imaging. The selected candidates will be
exposed to a women-s imaging section which includes state of the art GE stenograph, DS Stereotactic
machine, Phillips micro dose mammography unit and a brand new Toshiba Aplio Ultrasound machine.
Candidate will be exposed to complex and challenging mammography reporting including symptomatic
and screening patients, stereotactic and Ultrasound guided biopsies, clips and wire placements. The
fellow will also learn and assist in MR guided breast biopsies. The fellow will also take charge of breast
MDT which is held weekly and deals with challenging cases. He/She shall be responsible for one stop
breast clinic run thrice a week in our women-s imaging unit. The Hospital Information System and
Radiology Information System (RIS) rely on PACS in our filmless department.
