Religion:

Christianity is the dominant religion in Australia and USA. In Australia about 12 million people, and 86
per cent of religious Australians, identifying as Christians where in USA 78% of all adults identifying with
a Christian faith, and more than 9 in 10 of those who have a religious identity identifying as Christians.
According to census, in 21st century other religions are growing more rapidly than Christianity in both
countries. Hinduism is the fastly growing religion in Australia mostly through immigration. Hinduism is
also one of the most youthful religions in Australia, with 34% and 66% of Hindus being under the age of
14 and 34 respectively. On the other hand, as Islam is growing worldwide, it is also growing in USA. This
also have been growing through immigration.

Dressing:
There is a big difference between an Australian’s style of clothing to an American’s style of clothing. The
national dressing style of Australia includes shorts, sleeveless shirts, and thongs because of the warm
climate .Hats are commonly worn in various styles to prevent skin cancer where, USA has no national
costume. The people of the USA are from such diverse backgrounds that no one costume represents
Americans. The clothing that has been worn by the greatest number of Americans over the longest
period of time is the T shirt and blue jeans. On the other hand traditional clothing in Australia is said to
be that of swagmen and bushmen of the past. They wore long trousers, buttoned sleeves, strong leather
boots, and hats with corks hanging from the brim to keep away flies and in USA ,it includes denim jeans,
cowboy hats, and flannel shirts. These are long-sleeved shirts that are typically made from wool, though
cotton varieties are also available. Flannel shirts have been and still are a major component of North
American clothing.

Architecture:
American architecture was largely influenced by the English-Georgian style. This included the
Neoclassical style, which is present today in the form of the Independence Hall in Philadelphia and more
remarkably, The White House. Australian residential architectural styles have evolved significantly over
time, from the early days of structures made from relatively cheap and imported corrugated iron to
more sophisticated styles borrowed from other countries, such as the Victorian style.

Art:
Australia’s popular art are Aboriginal and Indigenous Art. The visual arts have a long history in Australia,
from ancient Aboriginal rock paintings to colonial landscapes to contemporary movements of today.
America’s popular art are landscapes, floral and visual art.
