hereunder (hereinafter called “the trainee(s)”, being person(s) undergoing training in INDUSTRIAL
ECONET WIRELESS ZIMBABWE

AND WHEREAS the trainee(s) not being employee(s) of the Company will not be covered by the
Company’s insurance policies or workers’ compensation insurance during the period of training.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE UNIVERSITY OF ZIMBABWE undertakes to indemnity the company
in respect of all sums which it may become legally liable to pay or in respect of any trainee(s) or his
dependents by reason of accident or theft arising out of and in the course of the aforementioned
practical training, including claims in respect of death, injury, pain and suffering, medical expenses,
loss of income and loss or destruction of or damage to personal effects, howsoever caused.
